Now that it’s been some time since you’ve started your healthy ways, you’re feeling courageous enough to get in the gym and experience some GAINS!
Having a better understanding of your eating habits, breathing, and water intake, can you give you quite the advantage when you’re trying to “make gains.” Of course, you can get very in depth with all of the above, i.e. tracking calories, tracking macros, carb cycling, intermittent fasting, etc. The list can really go on and on. It comes down to what you’re not willing to GIVE UP on. It depends on how bad you want accomplish a goal you’ve set for yourself.
There’s an indescribable feeling you get when you see the first change in your body’s composition from all the hard work that you’ve been putting in. That particular feeling becomes addicting, somewhat similar to a runner’s high. What kind of training do you even do? Let’s get one thing straight before discussing your training schedule. Working out will not change your body’s composition alone. You MUST be adamant about giving yourself the proper nutrients. You’ll have to have your eating habits directly reflect the your training in the gym. Whether it’s losing weight, increasing mass, etc.
Are you familiar with compound lifting or isolation lifting? Most people don’t know what either means. Most people also don’t know that a lot of in-house gym trainers will bring you through a lot of isolation lifting. That’s not a big deal, but compound lifting is much more effective.
